Who attends anger management & conflict coaching?

The short answer is anyone. Contrary to what many of prospective clients think people from all walks of life attend anger management either individually or in group. The reality is that anger is a normal human emotion but if it is too frequent, too long lasting, it can lead to aggression or destroys relationships which becomes a problem that needs attention.

Is it normal to be anxious about calling?

Yes. Clients tell me all the time about the first call and how difficult it is. Some speak of holding on to the number for weeks before making the call. Rest assured that we will handle your situation with privacy and care, so when you feel the time is right don’t hesitate to call.

How are groups structured?

We run one day classes with an option to follow-up in individual coaching. These classes are held on weekends for your convenience.

Can I been seen individually?

Absolutely! Some clients because of their profile or for other reasons choose to be seen individually. As a matter of fact many clients choose this option. Call us today for our individual coaching rates.

What happened during the first individual coaching session and how long does it take?

We discuss your situation and administer the computer based anger management map and emotional intelligence map.  These tools measure your level of empathy, assertiveness skills, degree of motivation, readiness to change, interpersonal deference, level of aggression, and other pertinent skill areas. After you have completed the assessment your coach will then interpret the assessment and recommend a course of treatment.  This process takes about an hour.

I have a very busy schedule. When can appointments be scheduled?

Class schedules are every weekend. We also offer daytime and evening coaching sessions

I am court ordered to participate in anger management groups. Can documentation be provided for court purposes?

Yes. All participants in anger management class receive a certificate of completion.  Each participant will be required to purchase the program workbook “Gaining Control of Ourselves.” This workbook can also provide proof of attendance to class.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash payments, money orders, credit cards and certified checks are accepted. We do not accept personal checks for services.

I am out of state. Can I attend our class or individual coaching?

Absolutely! We routinely have clients who travel by car or plane from out of state to attend our weekend anger management classes. Our certificates of completion are also accepted by many court systems across the country. If you don't want to travel we have an alternative--Online Private Conflict Coaching and Anger Management Classes facilitated by a live facilitator are held two (2) days per week. Do you offer training in emotional intelligence or conflict resolution?

Yes. Please call 704-804-0841 to discuss how we can help you and your organization.
