About the Team
Dr. Carlos R. Todd
Founder & Creative Director
Dr. Todd, the founder of Conflict Coaching & Consulting, PLLC, seeks to equip the world with the most effective tools to manage life’s conflicts. Dr. Todd is part of an elite group of individuals who can claim expertise in conflict management that has been tested by academic rigor. He completed his training and performance improvement doctoral studies focused on the development of a model to measure the impact of conflict management interventions on organizational performance. Dr. Todd is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) granted by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) granted by the National Board Certified Counselors.
Prior to his doctoral pursuits, Dr. Todd earned a Bachelor of Science degree in behavioral sciences followed by a Master of Arts in Community Counseling. He entered the mental health field in 2000 and has worked in various clinical and administrative capacities since that time. He has treated well over 1000 clients of all ages and in the thousands of hours interacting with clients he noticed that anger and conflict was a common concern. Sensing the need for more specialized services in anger and conflict management, he sought certification as an anger management professional in 2006 and enrolled in the aforementioned doctoral program with the view to making a contribution to the field of anger and conflict management. He continues to pursue a greater understanding of anger and conflict through his work with clients, writing and research.
Joseph V. Angarella, Ph.D.
Psychological and Learning Consultant
Dr. Angarella specializes in the design, development, and deployment of integrative psychoeducational experiences. As an educator, author, and technology consultant with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Angarella brings a unique set of skills to the Conflict Coaching and Consulting team. As our lead technical consultant, he is responsible for the planning and implementation of MasteringAnger.com’s online course delivery system. In addition, Dr. Angarella is the chief designer and lead architect of the patent pending Simplicity eLearning ™ system.
Using his understanding of internet technologies and his experience as an educator, Dr. Angarella monitors learners’ progress throughout their course. He regularly reviews learner feedback in order to make MasteringAnger.com an enjoyable and effective learning experience for all our students.
